Ntanda Nsereko, hasta hace poco profesor de leyes en la Universidad de Botswana donde tambi\u00e9n dirigi\u00f3 el Departamento Legal, fue nominado para la Corte Internacional de Justicia por el gobierno de Uganda y endosado por la Uni\u00f3n Africana el a\u00f1o pasado. <\/p>\n<p>Nsereko y otros dos nominados fueron elegidos de entre 10 candidatos al comienzo de diciembre por estados miembros de la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIC). <\/p>\n<p>Previamente, Nsereko trabaj\u00f3 como abogado procesal en Uganda, y m\u00e1s tarde fue nombrado como asesor del Colegio de Abogados de la Corte Internacional de Justicia, lo cual le permit\u00eda representar a clientes en la Haya.  <\/p>\n<p>La Corte Internacional de Justicia, una corte independiente establecida en 2002 para procesar genocidio, cr\u00edmenes contra la humanidad y de guerra, actualmente tiene jurisdicci\u00f3n sobre los ciudadanos de sus m\u00e1s de 100 estados miembros. <\/p>\n<p>Nsereko, un escritor prol\u00edfero sobre legislaci\u00f3n internacional y de justicia y derechos humanos, ha ense\u00f1ado asignaturas relacionadas a nivel universitario por m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os.
