El doctor Gardner estuvo entre 14 graduados distinguidos de Mico University College que fueron galardonados en la ceremonia de la instituci\u00f3n para la presentaci\u00f3n anual de graduados. <\/p>\n<p>El doctor Gardner es un entusiasta investigador y un dedicado defensor de los derechos de los m\u00e1s vulnerables. Tambi\u00e9n demuestra un inter\u00e9s en el desgaste cerebral del Caribe, el desarrollo de las matem\u00e1ticas e instrucci\u00f3n en ciencia, el impacto en la educaci\u00f3n sobre los varones y est\u00e1 expandiendo su inter\u00e9s en el amplio espectro de las artes entre estudiantes caribe\u00f1os. <\/p>\n<p>Un educador y administrador ejemplar, el doctor Gardner ha servido en varias universidades en Estados Unidos as\u00ed como en el Caribe &#8211; Universidad del Caribe del Norte y Universidad del Sur del Caribe (USC). Ha servido con honor en USC como presidente entre 2004 y 2011 y fue anterior vicepresidente para asuntos acad\u00e9micos administrativos en NCU de 2000 a 2003. <\/p>\n<p>En adici\u00f3n a lo anterior, su repertorio profesional incluye la autor\u00eda de cuatro libros en el campo de la educaci\u00f3n as\u00ed como contribuciones a otras publicaciones. Un estudiante internacional de la educaci\u00f3n japonesa, el doctor Gardner se ha enfocado en la educaci\u00f3n y selecci\u00f3n de administradores japoneses. Le ha servido al Consejo de Acreditaci\u00f3n de Trinidad y Tobago como l\u00edder del grupo para la acreditaci\u00f3n de instituciones terciarias y actualmente es un miembro del Consejo Universitario de Jamaica. Tambi\u00e9n ha establecido con \u00e9xito relaciones de trabajo con universidades brasile\u00f1as y de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. <\/p>\n<p>La Universidad del Caribe del Norte est\u00e1 localizada en Mandeville, Jamaica y ofrece docenas de grados a nivel de pregrado y graduados a m\u00e1s de 5,000 estudiantes cada a\u00f1o.
