La junta directiva de Radio Mundial Adventista<\/a> (AWR) eligi\u00f3 a James (Jim) Howard como nuevo presidente. Howard sucede a Duane McKey, quien se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como presidente de AWR desde enero de 2017. McKey anunci\u00f3 que se jubilar\u00eda durante el 62nd<\/sup> Congreso de la Asociaci\u00f3n General, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en St. Louis, Missouri. Howard asume el nuevo cargo con efecto inmediato.<\/p>\n

Antes de unirse a AWR, Howard se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como director de Escuela Sab\u00e1tica y Ministerios Personales <\/a>(SSPM) de la Asociaci\u00f3n General desde 2018. Erton K\u00f6hler, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n General, dijo: \u201cJim ha facultado constantemente a los miembros laicos para que compartan su fe.
