Imagen: AdventHealth News<\/p><\/div>\n<p>17 de mayo de 2019 | Winter Park, Florida, Estados Unidos | AdventHealth y Adventist ReviewLa Fundaci\u00f3n Winter Park Health y AdventHealth anunciaron recientemente la apertura del Centro de Salud y Bienestar patrocinado por ambos.<\/p>\n<p>Las instalaciones de vanguardia de este centro est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para proveer amplios servicios de salud y bienestar, tanto preventivos como de rehabilitaci\u00f3n, que puedan mejorar la salud general Dicho centro, el cual requiri\u00f3 m\u00e1s de siete a\u00f1os de desarrollo, abriga bajo un solo techo servicios de nutrici\u00f3n, aptitud f\u00edsica, m\u00e9dicos, oportunidades educativas y mucho m\u00e1s, con el prop\u00f3sito de hacer conveniente el bienestar integral de la persona y de f\u00e1cil acceso para toda la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p>Dicho centro, el cual requiri\u00f3 m\u00e1s de siete a\u00f1os de desarrollo, abriga bajo un solo techo servicios de nutrici\u00f3n, aptitud f\u00edsica, m\u00e9dicos, oportunidades educativas y mucho m\u00e1s, con el prop\u00f3sito de hacer conveniente el bienestar integral de la persona y de f\u00e1cil acceso para toda la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNos place mucho abrir estas nuevas y bellas instalaciones que son una continuaci\u00f3n de nuestro compromiso hacia la salud de los floridanos del centro del Estado durante muchos a\u00f1os en el futuro\u201d, dijo Patty Maddox, presidenta y directora ejecutiva de Winter Park Health Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n Winter Park Health est\u00e1 dedicada a apoyar los esfuerzos que mejoran la salud de los residentes de Winter Park y otras poblaciones cercanas, como la de Maitland y Eatonville. Ambas instituciones hemos compartido la visi\u00f3n de ayudar a nuestra comunidad a estar tan saludable como sea posible y, el Centro de Salud y Bienestar es la culminaci\u00f3n de muchos a\u00f1os de planificaci\u00f3n y ardua labor\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Los dirigentes del centro informaron que la instalaci\u00f3n incluye el Centro de Bienestar Peggy &amp; Philip B. Crosby, que cuenta con dos piscinas y lo \u00faltimo en tecnolog\u00eda de equipo para ejercicio cardiovascular y entrenamiento con pesas. Incluye tambi\u00e9n una zona de aproximadamente 1,400 metros cuadrados en donde se ejercen varias pr\u00e1cticas m\u00e9dicas de AdventHealth bajo un solo techo, incluyendo medicina familiar o general, diabetes y endocrinolog\u00eda, as\u00ed como pr\u00e1ctica de gastroenterolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Otras instalaciones incluyen, entre otras cosas, una pista interior para caminar que est\u00e1 abierta al p\u00fablico; el BeWell Bar, que ofrece lo \u00faltimo en tecnolog\u00eda de la salud; el Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen, que sirve desayunos saludables y tambi\u00e9n almuerzos; un laboratorio para pacientes externos, una farmacia con medicinas a la venta y una secci\u00f3n para medicina del deporte y para rehabilitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs magnifico poder ofrecer cuidados m\u00e9dicos primarios, adem\u00e1s de muchas especialidades y recursos saludables bajo un solo techo\u201d, dijo Arianna Becker, m\u00e9dico general dedicada a medicina familiar que se instalar\u00e1 en el Centro de Salud y Bienestar.
