La Iglesia Adventista del S\u00e9ptimo D\u00eda en Interam\u00e9rica se apresta a celebrar en todo su territorio, la acci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de laicos o miembros activos de la iglesia, quienes incansablemente dan a conocer el evangelio cada d\u00eda en sus comunidades. Esta celebraci\u00f3n, llamada D\u00eda del Laico Interamericano, se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el d\u00eda 4 de septiembre, durante un programa en l\u00ednea celebrado en vivo.<\/p>\n

\u201cNos sentimos sumamente felices de honrar a los miembros de iglesia que se han entregado incondicionalmente a la predicaci\u00f3n del mensaje de salvaci\u00f3n\u201d, dijo el pastor Melchor Ferreyra, director de ministerios personales de la iglesia en Interam\u00e9rica y principal organizador de este evento. Es importante continuar apoyando a los miles y miles de fieles creyentes que lo entregan todo con el fin de compartir su esperanza a dondequiera que van y se sienten motivados y reafirmados respecto al llamado a cumplir la misi\u00f3n, dijo el director Ferreyra.<\/p>\n

[Imagen: Divisi\u00f3n Interamericana]<\/p><\/div>Esta fecha anual fue restablecida seg\u00fan era costumbre celebrarla durante d\u00e9cadas en todo el territorio, hace m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os. Por alguna raz\u00f3n se hab\u00eda hecho a un lado entre otros d\u00edas especiales designados dentro del \u00e1mbito de la iglesia y sus ministerios, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el director Ferreyra. \u201cSiempre se ha celebrado cada a\u00f1o la labor de los miembros laicos en los niveles locales, regionales y de divisi\u00f3n, pero no hab\u00edamos enfocado nuestro esfuerzo en celebrarla en un determinado d\u00eda especial, como hist\u00f3ricamente se hac\u00eda\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sin el duro esfuerzo de los miembros laicos, comprendidos entre ellos predicadores laicos, evangelizadores laicos, directores de grupos peque\u00f1os y obreros b\u00edblicos, Interam\u00e9rica no habr\u00eda experimentado el crecimiento del que ha gozado por casi 100 a\u00f1os, dijo el director Ferreyra. Definitivamente, necesitamos honrar desde el nivel de divisi\u00f3n, a los miembros activos de la iglesia por el apoyo dado a esta empresa de predicaci\u00f3n del evangelio\u201d.<\/p>\n

En este d\u00eda especial, cada una de las 24 uniones o regiones principales de la iglesia en Interam\u00e9rica habr\u00e1 de rendirles homenaje y reafirmar la misi\u00f3n de continuar trabajando mano a mano con los pastores y dirigentes de las iglesias locales, a fin de alcanzar y hacer disc\u00edpulos de nuevos miembros que acepten a Cristo y se unan a la iglesia.<\/p>\n

El programa en l\u00ednea, de una hora de duraci\u00f3n, cuyo lema es \u201cCelebraci\u00f3n de la Misi\u00f3n\u201d, presentar\u00e1 a altos dirigentes de la iglesia, breves mensajes espirituales, un segmento dedicado a una reuni\u00f3n en vivo desde la ciudad de Tijuana, en el norte de M\u00e9xico y saludos desde diferentes lugares del territorio de la DIA, el s\u00e1bado 4 de septiembre, comenzando a las 4 de la tarde (4:00 p.m. tiempo de Miami) tanto en ingl\u00e9s, como en espa\u00f1ol y franc\u00e9s (cada idioma por separado).<\/p>\n

La Celebraci\u00f3n del Laicado de Interam\u00e9rica, el 4 de septiembre de 2021, se transmitir\u00e1 en vivo a trav\u00e9s de webcast.interamerica.org<\/a>, as\u00ed como a trav\u00e9s de las cuentas de Facebook de Interam\u00e9rica en Ingl\u00e9s<\/a>, Espa\u00f1ol<\/a> y Franc\u00e9s<\/a>.<\/p>\n
