Un grupo de la Iglesia Adventista del S\u00e9ptimo D\u00eda en Bangkok, Tailandia, lanz\u00f3 recientemente un muy peculiar estilo de serie de evangelizaci\u00f3n. El grupo llev\u00f3 a cabo esta serie no dentro del edificio de una iglesia, sino en un restaurante situado cerca del concurrido distrito de Patrunam en esa populosa ciudad.<\/p>\n

El gerente del restaurante le concedi\u00f3 al grupo de miembros de la iglesia adventista celebrar una serie de una semana de duraci\u00f3n en este local. Las reuniones nocturnas fueron parte de la serie de evangelizaci\u00f3n Cristo para Tailandia 2023, celebradas en m\u00e1s de 30 lugares en esa naci\u00f3n del sureste de Asia. Los miembros de la iglesia planificaron el programa cada noche, presentando cantos, consejos de salud y mensajes espirituales a las personas que entraban y sal\u00edan del restaurante. Esta serie de evangelizaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo del 1 al 6 de marzo.<\/p>\n

El restaurante ha sido transformado en un lugar temporal de adoraci\u00f3n, con las mesas y sillas dispuestas de tal manera que se guarde la distancia social. El grupo ha implementado tambi\u00e9n protocolos de seguridad respecto al COVID-19, incluyendo el uso de m\u00e1scaras y la desinfecci\u00f3n de superficies.<\/p>\n

El due\u00f1o del restaurante recibi\u00f3 con benepl\u00e1cito la idea siendo que no solamente atrae personas a su negocio, sino que tambi\u00e9n alienta una buena relaci\u00f3n entre el restaurante y la comunidad.<\/p>\n

Las reuniones ya han despertado el inter\u00e9s de los residentes y visitantes de esta zona.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstaba simplemente pasando por ah\u00ed y escuch\u00e9 los cantos\u201d, dijo un residente local que asisti\u00f3 a la reuni\u00f3n y a\u00f1adi\u00f3: \u201cEra tan hermoso y tan inspirador, que tuve que entrar y ver que estaba ocurriendo\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsta es una maravillosa iniciativa que muestra el poder de creatividad e innovaci\u00f3n al dar a conocer el evangelio\u201d, dijo Roger Caderma, presidente de la Divisi\u00f3n Asia Pac\u00edfico Sur de la Iglesia Adventista del S\u00e9ptimo D\u00eda, de la que es parte Tailandia. \u201cEspero que m\u00e1s iglesias sigan su ejemplo y encuentren nuevas formas de captar la atenci\u00f3n de las personas en sus comunidades\u201d.<\/p>\n
