L'Eglise Adventiste du Septi\u00e8me jour \u00e0 Porto Rico a r\u00e9cemment c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9l'inauguration d'un Centre de Recherche Ellen G. White (EGW) sur le campus d'AntilleanAdventist University. La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie a rassembl\u00e9 les leaders del'\u00e9glise, le personnel enseignant et les membres d'\u00e9glise pour un programmes'\u00e9talant sur un weekend, du 4 au 7 f\u00e9vrier, et dont l'emphase \u00e9tait plac\u00e9e surla riche litt\u00e9rature sur l'h\u00e9ritage Adventiste d\u00e9sormais disponible sur l'ile.<\/p>\n

Pasteur James Nix, directeur du White Estate, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Silver Spring dans le Maryland a parl\u00e9, lors du programmed'inauguration, de la contribution d'Ellen G. White – co-fondatrice de l'\u00e9gliseAdventiste. Nix a mis en avant les \u00e9crits importants d'Ellen White sur l'\u00e9ducation,la sant\u00e9 et l'administration de l'\u00e9glise.<\/p>\n

Dr Pedro Luis Cortes, directeur du centre nouvellement ouvert, a parl\u00e9 \u00e0 ceux qui \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sents au sujet des documents etmanuscrits de grande valeur quienrichiront la vie de ceux quivisiteront le centre.<\/p>\n

Ce centre servira non seulement \u00e0 enrichir votre vie spirituelle, maisaussi \u00e0 consolider, \u00e0 travers toute une s\u00e9ried'outils, les convictions et croyances que nous avons re\u00e7ues des \u00e9crits de l'Espritde Proph\u00e9tie et des Saintes Ecritures, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Cortes.<\/p>\n

Le centre qui se situe au troisi\u00e8me \u00e9tage de la biblioth\u00e8que du campus,devient ainsi le quatri\u00e8me centre de recherche totalement \u00e9quip\u00e9 dans leterritoire de la Division Inter Am\u00e9ricaine ; c'est un investissement quien vaut la peine a dit pasteur Leon B. Wellington, vice-pr\u00e9sident etcoordonateur de l'Esprit de Proph\u00e9tie et des centres de recherche EGW en Inter Am\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le fait d'avoir quatre centres dans le territoire de notredivision montre bien l'importance que l'on accorde aux \u00e9crits de l'Esprit de Proph\u00e9tie, \u00bba dit pasteur Wellington qui s'est exprim\u00e9 au cours de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie.\u00ab Notre objectif est que nos membres, aussi bien que les ouvriers de l'\u00e9glise,b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient des informations disponibles. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Le nouveau centre desservira Porto Rico et les iles carib\u00e9ennesavoisinantes. Les autres centres sont situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 Adventiste de Costa Rica, de Jama\u00efque et du Mexique.Jusqu'ici, la Division Inter Am\u00e9ricaine est celle qui dispose du plus grandnombre de centres de recherche EGW \u00e0 travers le monde,selon Wellington.<\/p>\n

Les Centres de Recherche EGW, qui sont situ\u00e9s dans les universit\u00e9sAdventistes dans le monde sont supervis\u00e9s par le Ellen G.White Estate qui est l'organisation officielle cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Ellen White pourfonctionner comme conservateur de ses \u00e9crits. Le White Estate est bas\u00e9 \u00e0 la Conf\u00e9rence G\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Adventistes du Septi\u00e8me jour, \u00e0 Silver Spring dans le Maryland aux Etats Unis.<\/p>\n
