The Education department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America (IAD) has organized the first ever symposium on marketing Adventist education. The symposium will take place September 21-24 at Montemorelos University, in Montemorelos, Mexico.

More than 130 education directors from IAD's 14 major regions will gather to learn new marketing techniques to promote Adventist education to the vast church membership in their territories.

“We have organized this symposium with the purpose to globalize education in our Division territory,” says Dr. Moises Velazquez, IAD education director. “The integration of our educational system and the use of its available technological tools, together with the principles that guide our church, make it necessary for a reformation in Adventist education.”

The symposium will offer training on strategic planning, marketing education, retention of students and financial planning, as well as discussion panels on issues facing Adventist education, among others.
