On July 4th, Seventh-day Adventist delegates to the 58th General Conference Session in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, voted the re-election of Inter-America’s two remaining officers.
Pastor Juan O. Perla was re-elected as secretary and Filiberto Verduzco as treasurer. Both will serve an additional five-year term alongside Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in IAD, who was re-elected on Sunday.
As Inter-America’s three top church leaders have been chosen, more elections will be held as the IAD delegation will choose its departmental leaders in the following days.
