St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands…[Winston A. Richards/IAD]

Seventh-day Adventits in the North Caribbean Conference elected its church’s leadership for the next four years in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, during its business session August 3-6. Pastor Silton Browne was elected as president for the church there as well as Pastor Desmond James as Secretary and Mr. Edson Bovell as Treasurer.

Along with the three administrators, departmental directors and trustees for several islands were also voted in during the business session. Elected as departmental directors:

Personal Ministries: Pastor Henry Peters

Youth/Chaplaincy: Pastor Wilmoth James

Education: Dr. Vincent A. David

Health/Temperance: Pastor Arnaldo Gonzalez

Communication/Stewardship: Dr. Winston A. Richards

Ministerial/ADRA: Pastor Charles Heskey

Family Life: Pastor Silton Browne

Religious Liberty/Public Affairs: Pastor Desmond James

Women’s/Children’s Ministries: Claudette Andrews

The church in the North Caribbean region is comprised of 15 islands on the North Atlantic Ocean and has nearly 24,000 Seventh-day Adventists worshiping in 66 churches.
