The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Venezuela’s south central region is working towards unifying the membership among its churches. Church leaders and members from throughout the region gathered for a special day-long Sabbath program on September 24 at the El Limon Colloseum, in Maracay. The event, called “Unity in Gratitude and Praise”, attracted 2,250 members.

Pastor Armando Mirando, vice president for the World Church, and Pastor Julio Palacio, president for the church in Venezuela, offered seminars to those who attended the program.

“We enjoyed inspiring messages, great seminars and a wonderful baptismal ceremony of 16 members,” said Pastor Orlando Rosales, president of the South Central Venezuala Mission. He reported that 1,102 new people were baptized during the year.

This is the second such event organized by this Mission.

Currently, there are more than 13,400 Seventh-day Adventists worshiping in 65 churches in the South Central Venezuela Mission,
