The 15 young finalists representing each union of the Inter-American Division territory will have to wait a few more weeks for the grand finale competition re-scheduled to take place January 28, 2006. The Youth Bible Bowl had to be postponed from the Dec. 3rd date since three of the competing youths from Mexico had trouble obtaining visas for Venezuela, according to Pastor Bernardo Rodriguez, youth director for the church in Inter-America.

“Because of the situation between the Mexican and Venezuelan governments, our three young people from Mexico’s unions were not going to be able to be present, so we decided to postpone for the beginning of the year,” says Pastor Rodriguez. “These young people studied so hard to get to the grand finale and (we) don’t want anyone missing out.”
