Tuxtla Gutierrez, Central Chiapas, Mexico…[Iliana Illarza/IAD]

More than 1,600 young Adventists from the church in Central Chiapas, Mexico, gathered for their yearly youth festival, on Dec. 9-11, 2005.

Themed “Strong in the Hope, Defined in the Mission”, young people met at the Orion Camp to be refreshed with inspirational messages, and a special musical program.

Pastor Bernardo Rodriguez, youth director for the church in Inter-America, was at the event and encouraged young people to continue their commitment to serve God and their communities.

On Sabbath, four young people were baptized in a special ceremony.

At the end of the event, youth choirs sang Christmas music in the central park of Tuxtla Gutierrez, where they were able to witness and share God through music to more than 800 people that day.
