Acapulco, Mexico…[Libna Stevens/IAD] Inter-America’s top church leadership from throughout its large 15 regions gathered for the second annual executive committee year-end meetings in Acapulco, Mexico, on October 20.

The five-day event will include discussion on the development of the Tell the World Initiative, implemented in the territory this year. Also, new evangelism programs will be announced, local church regions will be structured, and reports and projections on membership growth and finance will be presented. Certification programs and special events will take place, as well.

Additional agenda items to be discussed include a youth evangelist exchange program to begin next year, “Pentecost and More”, a celebration of the Inter-American Division reaching three million church members, “Days of Hope”, a community service program headed by the youth ministries department and new guidelines for Seventh-day Adventist church websites.

Business meetings will begin early on October 22 and end October 24.
