Northern Caribbean University’s software design team is in the top six of the World finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition.
The four-member team is currently in Seoul, South Korea, representing NCU, Jamaica and the entire Caribbean and Central American region. After day two of the competition, the team advanced to the top twelve, and following another day of competition has been placed in the final six. The team will continue to compete against the world’s best as the competition, slated to end on August 10, draws to a close. The other teams in the Championship Round are: Austria, Taiwan, Ireland, Korea and Serbia.
