Thousands of Seventh-day Adventists throughout Inter-America have joined together in aggressive evangelistic efforts to draw non-believers into accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. It’s a unified effort which has permeated into the thousands of churches and congregations in Inter-America’s 15 regions and which will culminate with a special satellite event on March 15, from Kingston, Jamaica.
Coined as “Pentecost and More,” a theme carried over from last year’s celebration which showcased massive baptisms throughout the territory during a live satellite program, the event promises to once again unify the IAD's regions under the banner of the biblical pentecost experience as recorded in the book of Acts.

Pastor Balvin Braham, associate director of the Ministerial Association for the church in Inter-America and the main organizer of the event, says this year’s “Pentecost and More” satellite event will show the impact the church has made in the local communities through unique outreach projects.
“What we are expecting [from Pentecost and more] this year is a re-focus on the gospel presentation in the consolidation and retention of new believers,” says Pastor Braham. “We want these joint efforts to have lasting evangelistic effects throughout the territory, inspiring members to focus more on the felt needs of the people in the community.”
The three-and-a-half live satellite event will be broadcast from the National Arena in Kingston, Jamaica, through The Hope Channel, Esperanza TV, 3ABN, 3ABN Latino, and Red ADvenir, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Kingston, Jamaica Time (10:30 a.m. Miami Time or Eastern Daylight Time. Highlights of the event will include special speaker Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America, musical presentations and live transmission of baptisms from every major church region, and more.
