A select group of Seventh-day Adventists representing Mexico’s four major church regions will get the opportunity to dialogue with top church leaders from the Inter-American Division during Facing the Issues special live program, on Saturday, Feb. 21, from Merida, Mexico.

The unscripted program event will provide 42 laypersons and young people, representing more than 600,000 church members throughout Mexico, the opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns and questions regarding the church.

Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America is the main host of the three-hour-program dialogue session and will be accompanied by top church leaders and department directors as well.

Facing the Issues is a great opportunity to meet with the church locally, to allow the church to talk to us so that we can listen and make adjustments in order to respond to the needs of the church,” says Pastor Leito.

Already some 40 church members from Central America participated in the second Facing the Issues webcast which took place last month.

The third of six sessions, Facing the Issues in Mexico will be streamed live over the internet in Spanish from Centro de Convenciones Siglo XXI in Merida, Mexico, in front of a live audience of more than 5,000, on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3:00p.m. Merida Time or 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (Miami Time).
