A select group of Seventh-day Adventists representing the church in Haiti will dialogue with top church leaders from the Inter-American Division (IAD) during Facing the Issues special live program on Saturday, July 25, 2009, from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

The unscripted program will provide some 16 laypersons and young people, representing more than 335,000 church members throughout Haiti, the opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns and questions regarding the church.

Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America, is the main host of the two-and-a-half hour dialogue session. Church administrators and department leaders will also be in attendance to provide insight on a wide range of issues and initiatives.

“This is a special occasion to engage with the membership of the church there in Haiti, and see what their concerns are as one of the fastest growing unions in the Division territory,” says Pastor Balvin Braham, organizer of the program and special assistant to the IAD president.”

The Haiti live dialogue program will consist of several sections where delegates will ask their questions, Pastor Leito will ask the group questions, as well as the audience will have the opportunity to ask several questions.

The sixth of seven sessions, Facing the Issues in Haiti will be streamed live over the internet in French and English from Haiti's Adventist University in front of a live audience starting at 3:30 p.m. Haiti Time or 4:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (Miami Time).
