The staff of the Inter-American Division headquarters in Miami, held its annual week of spiritual emphasis, June 14-19, in its B.L. Archbold Auditorium.
Under the theme “You Will Receive Power”, all IAD staff members heard messages every morning from Pastor Paul Ratsara, president of the church in the Southern African-Indian Ocean region.
Pastor Ratsara began the week encouraging all to strengthen their faith with the promises of God and with His loving care in the midst of trials, claiming the power that God has granted us through the Holy Spirit.
“Times are changing and we must awake like God told Isaiah,” Ratsara said. “We need to claim the power of God and spend more time in prayer as we are in the business of church work.”
Pastor Ratsara reminded the church workers to claim that power to finish the work God has entrusted.
The week concluded with a communion service and a Sabbath morning service where staff and their families participated in special worship service.
