The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America is less than 36 hours away from officially launching its revival and reformation program. The launching will take the shape of a live satellite program set to take place Saturday, Feb. 12, from El Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Church administrators from 21 of the Inter-American Division’s (IAD) regions will travel to the Dominican Republic to participate in the live event that aims to reach and inspire viewers to seek a spiritual revival through prayer, worship, praise and gratitude for a transformed life in Jesus.
Pastor Ted N.C. Wilson, president of the Adventist World Church, will deliver the keynote message during the three-hour program which will include additional activities and initiatives within the revival and reformation theme, as well as special music, and commemorative segments.
“With this live program we wanted to reach the whole division territory with the message that we are serious about revival,” says Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America. “This is not just an event for us, it is a change of lifestyle, it’s moving into a permanent state of readiness according to our vision for the coming of our Lord.”
Nearly 9,000 Seventh-day Adventist are expected to gather at the El Palacio de los Deportes and thousands more are expected to view the live program through Hope Channel, Esperanza TV and 3ABN Latino, starting at 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Dozens of radio stations throughout the IAD will carry the live program as well.
