The Seventh-day Adventist Church in West Venezuela inaugurated a new media center during a special ceremony held recently in the city of Barquisimeto. The event brought administrators, leaders and church members from near and far to witness the historic moment in the more than 100 year history of the church there.

“We are so proud to be here and witness this beautiful ceremony,” said Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America, at the event. Pastor Leito was accompanied by Inter-American Division communication colleagues during the ceremony.

“Use this studio to better the life of the people in Venezuela, tell them that Christ lives, saves and is coming soon,” said Pastor Leito. “Let people know that we have a true message, pure, clean without any hidden agenda.”

Pastor Julio Palacio, president of the church in Venezuela, thanked the contribution of key communication leaders who paved the way to make the new Adventist Media Center a reality today. Among those recognized were Pastors William Gomez and Rodolfo Escobar.
