Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders want to speak to theology students at each of the 12 Adventist universities throughout the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory during an online webcast this week.

The online event will take place from the campus of Montemorelos University on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, starting at 11:00 a.m. Miami Time through Inter-America’s webcast channel.

“As times are changing, we are interested in speaking to the pastors who will lead the church tomorrow,” says Pastor Hector Sanchez, ministerial secretary for the church in Inter-America and organizer of the event. “We want this precious resource that the church in the IAD has been educating to know more about the realities of the pastoral work, what they will step into as they begin their ministry.”

As pastors step into the field, many will have to relocate to a remote location, lead several congregations and start a family while learning the ropes of the ministry, explains Sanchez.

“We want our pastors to know what to expect when they go out there,” he continues, “what is the growth of the church in the IAD, their role as evangelists, their role in motivating members to expand through the church’s small groups ministry, the role of the pastor’s wife and the like.”

The one-and-a-half hour program will include guest speakers, a panel forum, special prayer sessions, and more.

Tune in to watch the live program on Tuesday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m. Miami Time. The program will be carried in English, Spanish and French at our web channel HERE
