The Society of Adventist Communicators (SAC) Interamérica announced the winners of its various categories during a short ceremony held at the Inter-American Division headquarters, Mar. 5, 2015, in Miami, Florida. More than 60 communicators and media production specialists listened in as SAC Interamérica President Angela Barrios highlighted the society’s mission.

As an initiative of the communication department, in conjunction with the Society of Adventist Communicators of North America, the SAC Interamérica chapter strives to bring communicators and interested professionals together in supporting the mission of the church, said Barrios.

“The SAC Interamerica awards is a strategy to share and recognize special works or projects completed in various categories,” Barrios said.

SAC Interamerica is an organization for Spanish-speaking communicators across Inter-America for greater collaboration and networking among communication professionals to support the mission of the church.

The ceremony became the first such event since the SAC Interamérica was formed in Nov. of 2012.
