Seventh-day Adventist pastors, leaders and communicators got a glimpse last week of the new website that the Inter-American Division’s communication department will be launching soon.
The preview of the website was featured during a CommSessions event. The new website will continue to feature news, more stories, more resources, all adapted to the church’s latest identity guideline system.
CommSessions takes place every three months and is a series of talks on innovation, creativity and collaboration for pastors and leaders in the church across Inter-America.
“We thought it important to take an opportunity to show our church leaders throughout the territory the possible digital platforms in the new website with a more conceptual than technical approach adapted to the times today,” said Abel Márquez, communication director of the church in Inter-America.
There will be a comprehensive new resources in support of initiatives and activities lead by the different departments and ministries of the church, added Márquez.
Communicators and technologists also explained new cyber security safeguards included in the website, the new content formats, its user friendly visual design and new collaboration among Inter-America’s regional territory to generate more content.
According to Márquez, the website’s software developers will continue to make adjustments during the month ahead and plan for the launch of the new webpage in the early weeks of March.
