A special two-hour Hope Channel Inter-America advisory meeting will take place on Tuesday, Mar. 6, from the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Inter-American Division (IAD) headquarter office in Miami, Florida. The live online event will be addressed mainly to union, or regional, communication directors and channel coordinators, as well as personnel across the 18 media production centers throughout the IAD territory.

“It’s important for us to strengthen the identity of the channel by providing training for many of the newly appointed union Hope Channel Inter-America coordinators and facilitate a closer collaborative work within the network of media centers in our territory,” said Abel Márquez, communication director for the church in Inter-America and executive director of Hope Channel Inter-America.

The live event will provide orientation on the channel’s main strategic plans, production guidelines, orientation in the development, planning and implementation programs, representation and distribution of the official channels, and more.

“We have endeavored to continue training and inspiring administrators, department heads and communicators on the grand evangelistic task of spreading hope through the church’s official channel since before Hope Channel Inter-America was officially launched in 2016,” said Márquez.

Although there’s a specific target audience set for the advisory, the live event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the progress of Hope Channel Inter-America, its plans for further growth and upcoming productions, explained Márquez.

The Mar. 6 event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Miami time in Spanish with English and French translations. To view the live streaming, go to webcast.interamerica.org
