Local church elders from throughout the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America will take part in a two-and-a-half-hour online training session on Feb. 16, 2019. The training session is part of a comprehensive certification program coined as “Every Elder Involved”. This is the second year of the session, designed to equip the nearly 30,000 church elders serving in the more than 22,000 churches and congregations across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory.

“Our efforts continue to move toward the vision of equipping church elders to understand the responsibility and ministry of spiritually nurturing the membership and discipling them as part of their mission alongside the pastor,” said Pastor Rodríguez, ministerial association secretary for the church in Inter-America and main organizer of the event.

This certification session will feature messages, seminars and a Q&A panel focused on discipleship, live from Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Miami Time.

Conference and mission fields across the IAD will gather its local church elders in auditoriums, offices and churches as part of the comprehensive certification program.

The online event will be carried in Spanish, English, and French.
