Below is a transcript of a message addressed to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America from President of the Inter-American Division, Elie Henry–IAD News Staff

April 15, 2022 | Miami, Florida, United States | By: Elie Henry, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America

Hello brothers and sisters, happy Sabbath.

I am happy to greet you today while so many activities and initiatives taking place in the church. You know this indicates that we are receiving great blessings.

Just last week we were in the country of Guatemala, at the closing of the evangelism caravan series entitled “Don’t give up, there is still hope,” which was organized for seven countries in our territory. I want to tell you that for the honor and glory of God, more than 21,000 new souls gave their lives to Jesus.

That same weekend, the distribution of thousands of missionary books, “The Final Hope”, took place throughout Inter-America, so I take this opportunity to thank all the children, youth and adults who participated in this very special impact. In fact, the same activity is repeated today in different countries all around the world. This is why I invite you to pray so that the message of hope can reach more people.

You will agree with me, that if there was a time in which we should share hope, it is today. The situation in the world hit by the pandemic, wars, famines and natural disasters, just as our Lord Jesus predicted, announces to us that He is at the door.

For times like this, Isaiah 52:7  tells us:

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Let’s continue to pray and continue to share that Jesus is coming soon.

God bless you all
