In less than two weeks, finalists from each of Inter-America’s 24 unions will travel to Jamaica to compete in this year’s Bible Connection finale event. The finalists will go head-to-head on the Book of Revelation during the live online program on Saturday, Nov. 19 2022, from Montego Bay, Jamaica.
“Everyone’s excited to be part of this year’s in-person bible competition after two years of holding it online,” said Al Powell, youth ministries director for the church in Inter-America. Because of travel restrictions in 2020 and 2021, the bible competition finale was held virtually.
The territory-wide Bible Connection initiative is all about getting more young people into the habit of studying their bibles and drawing important life lessons as they face daily challenges in their lives, he said.
During the finale, participants will get a chance to answer 100 multiple-choice questions in front of a live audience at the West Jamaica Conference Auditorium.
This year, there are three returning finalists from the Dutch Caribbean, Inter-Oceanic Mexican and Puerto Rico Unions who will join the other 21 to compete for the top prize.
The event will be live at 3 p.m. Miami Time in English, Spanish and French at webcast.interamerica.org
