Below is  a message addressed to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America from President of the Inter-American Division, Elie Henry–IAD News Staff

January 13, 2023 | Miami, Florida, United States | By: Elie Henry, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America

Hello, I am happy to greet you once again in this new year 2023.

On this occasion I am joined   by my fellow administrators in the Inter-American Division, Pastor Leonard Johnson, executive secretary, and Sister Ivelisse Herrera, who last month was elected as the new treasurer of the Inter-American Division, replacing Pastor Filiberto Verduzco, who decided to retire.

At the start of this new year, we reflect and thank God for all the care and blessings for His church. We also pray and invite you to be ready together to receive God’s promises in these coming months.

L.JohnsonIn this context and knowing that God has plans for His church, we must be confident  – as Jeremiah 42 reminds us  there is nothing to fear, for He is with us.

I.Herrera: Let us remember that we are the ones that God uses to fulfill His mission. It is up to you and me to faithfully accept that privilege.

E.Henry: The Lord stands ready to fulfill His promises and guide us with purpose and vision as we serve Him and give Him glory and praise in all we do. Let’s work together this year 2023, to continue advancing in the mission.

Just like we find in verse 3 of Jeremiah 42: Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do.

Happy Sabbath.
