Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I greet you with great joy on this very special Sabbath when we are culminating the week of prayer for children and adolescents, and we also celebrate children all over the world.

As we said in a previous message, church members have a duty to pray for children and young people every day asking that the Holy Spirit guide them in their spiritual growth, And today, I want to emphasize the importance of this mission, in favor of future generations.

I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for your constant dedication to the faith and principles that unite us as a family: The Adventist family. And as a health symposium begins online this coming week, I invite you to reflect on the third letter of John, chapter 1, verse 2: “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things, and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (NKJV)

Health care is an essential component of our beliefs as Seventh-day Adventists. But, in addition, our focus on a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition, rest, exercise, sunlight, clean air, water, temperance, and trust in God, are an integral part of our faith.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, it is important that we care for each other, and remain attentive to the needs of those who are facing health problems, whether physical or emotional. May we provide support to the most vulnerable, offering any type of help within our reach.

Let us pick up our phone, send a message, go to those homes or hospitals, sharing words of encouragement and hope. But above all, let us intercede for them in prayer so that God heals them and embraces them in His arms of love.

Maranatha!
