Hello Brothers and Sisters,

What a joy to greet you on this first Sabbath of the month of August, when the focus is on world mission. During the next few weeks, activities will include evangelism, church planting, training in missionary endeavors, community impact and medical brigades, among others.

It’s a privilege to have been called to be bearers of hope in a world filled with uncertainty and hopelessness. This  means we must be compassionate, share God’s love, and present the message of salvation to those who don’t yet know it.

Let us keep in mind that,  as a church and as individuals all our initiatives must be  living testimonies of God’s love and grace. This is why I encourage you to take advantage of any opportunity to share your faith and be witnesses of God, in our community, in digital media, on social networks, through community impact events and through any available means to reach more people.

World mission is not just for a few individuals. It is a call to each member of the church, giving us the opportunity to get involved  as we pray for each other and for those who will be reached with the gospel.

Romans 10:13 promises us, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”What a wonderful reminder and how powerful! Salvation is within the reach of everyone, regardless of their origin, their past or their condition. Let’s share this promise and invite others to put their faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that He is the only way to salvation.

Maranatha!
