Hello brothers and sisters from Inter-America, Happy Sabbath!

Today we celebrate and honor the important role played by the Seventh-day Adventist laity. Their dedication, commitment, and love for the work of God are essential to carry out the mission of sharing the message of hope and salvation and at the same time they are an inspiring example of how to live faith in their daily life.

Dear laity, your work in the church and in society reflects the love of Christ and your desire to make a difference in the world around us. You are ambassadors of truth and compassion, and your positive influence extends to all corners of our communities. Therefore, today, we want to thank you for your unwavering dedication, your committed spirit of service and your invaluable contribution to the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Each of you is a critical piece in the puzzle of our faith community, and your work does not go unnoticed.

I take this opportunity to encourage you to move forward with zeal and determination in your work, and as Colossians 3:23-24 says:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

May your light continue to shine, inspiring others to join this beautiful mission of love and hope. Together, we can continue to serve, educate, and share God’s love that transforms hearts.

Maranatha!
