Hello brothers and sisters, Happy Sabbath.

Today I want to start by reading verse 1, from Psalm 23: “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.” (NIV)

What a beautiful statement that we can make our own when we recognize that in Jesus we find everything we need. And what timely inspiration for a day like today: “Ministerial Family Appreciation Day.”

Pastoral ministry is a divine calling that requires faithfulness, compassion and spiritual nurture. Pastors not only inspire us, but draw us closer in fellowship, and above all point us to God and His Word.

We praise God for the blessing of the over 7,000 pastors throughout the Inter-American Division  territory. They are dedicated ministers who lead, teach, and serve with love.

At some point during the day in each church, we will have an opportunity to honor and thank our pastors. Let us use this occasion to support them in their work and pray that the Holy Spirit continues to strengthen them, their spouses, and their children. We are all one family in Christ, and the ministry of pastors and their families is a reminder that we are never alone in our spiritual journey.

Let us continue moving forward together, claiming God’s promise, which assures us that “He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” (NIV)

Ministerial families, we appreciate you.

Maranatha!
