Below is  a message addressed to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America from President of the Inter-American Division, Elie Henry–IAD News Staff

March 29, 2024 | Miami, Florida, United States | By: Elie Henry, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America

Hello Brothers and Sisters. Happy Sabbath.

As we close this first quarter of the year we can look back  with joy at how God has been with us personally and with His church in our many activities and events, and for this we praise His name.

Within the context of our emphasis for the year 2024, where all families have been invited to be more involved in mission, and by so doing  reaffirm the ties that unite us, not only as biological families but as families of faith, this is a good opportunity to be reminded that, together, we are stronger in the mission.  Unity in the diversity of our gifts and talents strengthens our efforts of making disciples, serving the community, and preparing others for the Kingdom of Heaven.

In Ephesians 4:13, the Apostle Paul says, ” until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (NIV).

What timely emphasis. The more we work together, the more we get to know our Lord Jesus Christ.

I encourage you to experience this unity with your families at home, but also with the church family. Get involved in community service activities, give Bible studies and spend quality time together. All of these activities strengthen the ties that unite us and also deepen our commitment to fulfilling the mission that God has entrusted to us.

 Maranatha!
