Espérance TV InterAmérique continues to spread the message of salvation to the French-speaking territories around the world.

Seventh-day Adventists in the French Antilles Guiana Union territory recently celebrated 10  years of carrying the message of the gospel through its Espérance TV Interamérique during a special ceremony. The French channel is one of three television channels under the Hope Channel Inter-America operated by the Inter-American Division.

Thousands gathered at  Mount Sinai Adventist church in François on June 15, 2024, for a prayer and worship ceremony of the milestone reached thus far.

“Today we have grown together in faith by the grace of God in this mission of spreading the values of Jesus and in particular of spreading the challenging message of the Three Angels of Revelation 14,” said Pastor Eddy-Michel Carpin, president of the French Antilles Guiana Union. “Espérance TV has touched many lives in Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana and elsewhere in the French-speaking world.” The world today needs certainty found in the promise made by our Lord Jesus, added Carpin.

Carpin challenged the channel’s leaders and production staff to rededicate their efforts and urged for renewed commitment in expanding to more programs that can move viewers to a better life here on earth and for the eternal life.

Stationed in Martinique, on the premises of the French Antilles Guiana Union in Forte-de-France, Espérance TV InterAmérique runs 24/7 programming featuring topics on health, education, family, children, youth, as well as seminars and more.

Esperance TV has been marked by challenges, victories, and constant growth, said Claudine Ténitri, director of Espérance TV InterAmérique.

Ténitri thanked church administrators and leaders who were instrumental in establishing the channel in 2014 and have helped it become what it is today.

“It is impossible to speak about our journey without acknowledging the divine intervention that has guided each step on our way,” she said. “From day one, God has been our compass, our source of inspiration. It is through His wisdom that the vision of Esperance TV was shaped, and it is through his mercy that we were able to overcome the obstacles, transforming each difficulty into growth and renewal opportunities.”

In thanking past and present administrators, production staff and volunteers, Ténitri said: “Your unconditional support, your generosity when it comes to time and talents as well as your constant prayers have been essential to our mission.” She thanked them for their spirit of community and selfless service, allowing Espérance TV to radiate well beyond initial expectations. “Your hard work, often in the shadow, and your creativity have been the engine behind our broad reach,” she said. “Each program, each nugget broadcasted bears the mark of commitment and excellence,” she added.

Ténitri thanked viewers for being the beating heart of the channel. “Your faithfulness, your encouraging feedback and your constant viewing motivate us to go beyond ourselves each day. You are our partners in this mission to broadcast hope and biblical knowledge in each televised program.” She continued in encouraging leaders and members to partner in building more than a television station.

“We have created a space for sharing, for reflection and where the divine light sheds light on each program and each intervention,” Ténitri said.

Hope Channel Inter-America’s Executive Director Abel Márquez praised the dedicated work of growing the French channel as a beacon of hope to the world. “We join with you these 10 years of growth and more so celebrate what this accomplishment means in your efforts to fulfill the mission in sharing hope,” said Márquez. “As part of the Hope Channel Inter-America Network, we look to the future with the assurance that your efforts will continue being a blessing to thousands of people in our French-speaking territory and beyond.”

Espérance TV InterAmérique is transmitted through esperancetv.org and their YouTube Channel which has more than 10,000 subscribers as well as it is distributed on hopechannelinteramerica.org and digital platforms such as Roku, Hope Channel and others. The channel shares content programming from Canada and France through a special agreement with Hope Channel International.
