Hello Brothers and Sisters,
Happy Sabbath.
Today I want to start by inviting you to open your Bibles to 2 Timothy 3:16-17 where we read: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
What a statement from these two verses! The Bible is an inexhaustible source of wisdom, comfort, and direction. This month of September we emphasize the importance of reading the Word of God, but the invitation is not only for these few days or weeks, but rather that we can continuously experience spiritual renewal, personally and also as families.
Today, as we conclude the Family Week of Prayer, let us take advantage of the occasion to strengthen our bonds as a family and as a faith community, by focusing our minds and hearts on Christ Jesus. Through prayer and study of His Word, we can build homes where the peace, unity, and love of Christ reign.
In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, we are instructed: “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
May God bless us abundantly as we follow this advice.
Maranatha!
