Finalists from each of the Inter-American Division’s (IAD) 24 unions will travel to San Salvador, El Salvador, to compete in this year’s Bible Connection finale event on November 16, 2024. The finalists will be tested on their knowledge of the Book of Genesis during a live-streamed event starting at 5:00 p.m. Miami Time.
The territory-wide Bible Connection initiative aims to encourage young people to develop the habit of studying their Bibles and drawing valuable life lessons as they face daily challenges, said Pastor Al Powell, youth ministries director of the IAD. “The annual Bible finale competition is an exciting opportunity for finalists to travel to another country, meet each other, and share experiences as a group of young people,” said Powell.
During the finale, participants will have the chance to answer 100 multiple-choice questions in front of a live audience at the Central Adventist Church in San Salvador. This year, four finalists are returning, including representatives from the Atlantic Caribbean, Central Mexican Union, and the Honduras Union. They will join the other 20 finalists in competing for top prizes, including full or partial scholarships to several Adventist universities, along with other gifts.
The event will be held in Spanish, English, and French on Nov. 16, at 5:00 p.m. Miami Time or 4:00 p.m. El Salvador Time at webcast.interamerica.org
