Seventh-day Adventists across Mexico have been actively engaged in evangelistic efforts in their churches, communities, cities, and on social media platforms as they prepare for the launch of the annual national online evangelistic campaign from Monterrey, Mexico, on September 6, 2025. The week-long series will mark the fifth consecutive year that the church’s five unions—its major regional territories—have collaborated to organize this nationwide initiative.

This year’s theme, “Decide Vivir Feliz” or “Choose To Live Happy”, will feature keynote speaker Pastor Luis Orozco, youth ministries director of the North Mexican Union. Each evening, Orozco will address viewers on the search for genuine happiness—through struggles, beyond filters and likes, amid chaos, and in pursuit of something greater. The nightly one-hour programs will begin at 7:30 p.m. Central Mexico Time (9:30 p.m. Miami Time) and will stream on Hope Channel Inter-America’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“We are delighted to be hosting the national campaign from our North Mexican Union territory in Monterrey this year, and we consider it both an honor and a great responsibility to lead evangelism efforts aimed at reaching people behind their devices,” said Pastor Arturo King, president of the North Mexican Union. Unlike traditional evangelistic campaigns, this effort is designed to draw people into the series and the life-changing messages it brings, he added.

In preparation for the online series, church leaders and members in northern Mexico have been involved in multiple outreach initiatives. A prophetic caravan, illustrating King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream from Daniel chapter 2 and highlighting the nearness of Christ’s Second Coming, has been traveling through major cities across dozens of states since earlier this year. In addition, Vacation Bible School programs have taken place in parks, plazas, and community centers, while Pathfinder clubs have been engaging children in Bible-based activities in neighborhoods throughout the region over the past eight months.

“We have been taking the church to the streets, carrying out programs in public spaces while also promoting our church’s I Want to Live Healthy initiative and other community impact projects,” King said.

Back in May, more than 70 evangelistic campaigns were held in Monterrey, with the support of guest communication evangelists in collaboration with Adventist World Radio.

For the upcoming series, some 2,350 small groups will host nightly viewings of the online programs from their living rooms, patios, or porches, welcoming members and visitors who have been studying the Bible for months, reported Pastor Sedric Arena, personal ministries director of the North Mexican Union.

In addition, 400 “Houses of Hope”—homes of church members—will open their doors to friends and neighbors each evening during the campaign. Altogether, more than 25,000 Houses of Hope nationwide will provide opportunities for neighbors to gather, watch, and connect with the hosting families.

“The church’s online radio station, along with 35 other stations across the country, will broadcast the campaign,” King added. Social media has also been central, with a coordinated strategy across Mexico’s five unions designed to maximize digital evangelism efforts. In Monterrey, large billboards and metro ads are already promoting the series, while national radio and television outlets have given attention to the upcoming campaign.

Beyond Monterrey, Adventist leaders and members throughout Mexico are doubling their efforts to share the gospel in their cities and neighborhoods. A dedicated digital media team will work during the campaign to answer questions and guide those seeking more information. Leaders expect the initiative to result in hundreds of baptisms as the series culminates on Sept. 13.”
