Children’s and Adolescents Ministries leaders from across the Inter-American Division (IAD) will participate in a live online workshop event on February 10, marking the official launch of the 2026 Vacation Bible Experience (VBE) program. The livestreamed event is designed to equip local church leaders with lessons, activities, and practical tools as they prepare to implement this year’s program in their communities.
Held annually, most often during school recess periods, the VBE initiative reaches more than 300,000 children and adolescents each year through Bible-centered instruction and community-building activities across the territory, organizers said.
“In this year’s program, we want children to understand that God always provides, that He calls them for a purpose, and that Jesus is interceding for them today,” said Sandra Pinto, children’s and adolescents ministries director for the IAD.
While full details will be shared during the live presentation, the five-day program will focus on themes such as God’s presence, reverence, obedience, leadership, and trust in His providential care.

Pinto said anticipation is high for this year’s program and expressed excitement about the impact it can have on both children from church families and those from surrounding communities.
“The Vacation Bible Experience is one of our most effective ways to reach children in the community,” she said. “It doesn’t have to take place only inside church buildings, it’s designed to be presented anywhere and at different times throughout the year.”
She added that the 2026 program includes expanded support materials for leaders, going beyond a printed manual.
“We want to support our teachers, not just give them a manual,” Pinto said. “They will have videos that show how to prepare activities, crafts, games, and food, so they feel equipped and confident.”
This year’s launch marks the first time the VBE program will be presented entirely through a live, multilingual broadcast, allowing leaders across the territory to participate simultaneously and prepare together in the weeks ahead.
The step-by-step presentation of the new Vacation Bible Experience program will be streamed in Spanish, English, and French on February 10, 2026, at 3 p.m. (Miami time), at webcast.interamerica.org.
