Each year, the Church observes this day to remember and support children living in vulnerable conditions—those without full family support or in need of special care.
The Word of God reminds us: “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling” (Psalm 68:5).
This day inspires us to bridge the gap between God’s heart and the reality of so many children who long for love, protection, and hope.
Churches are encouraged to take concrete actions such as prayer moments, visits, gifts, or support for local programs to help these children feel loved and not forgotten.
