Adventist Educators and church administrators from across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory will meet for an education congress on Saturday, Mar. 28, at the IAD headquarters in Miami, Florida. The event will be streamed live over the internet, starting at 10:00 a.m., Miami time.

The event will gather more than 100 teachers from universities, primary and secondary schools to look at the improvements made during the last five years and to share their plans for strengthening Adventist education, said Dr. Gamaliel Florez, education director for the church in Inter-America.

In addition, dozens of top church union administrators will also look at the existing challenges to maintain quality education and the resources available to finance it.

“We want to encourage our union leaders to find solutions to follow the clear policies of improving schools and remunerating thousands of teachers to see advances in education across our schools and universities,” said Florez.

The congress will include seminars and presentations, as well as a question and answer session with Adventist educators and top church leaders.
