24The Seventh-day Adventist Church strongly believes that individual conscience —not government— should guide each person’s decision to worship, or not to worship.
For more than 100 years, through its Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) department, the Church has defended this fundamental right by opposing laws that restrict faith, advocating for individuals persecuted for religious reasons, and promoting respect for all beliefs.
As a global church, we understand what it means to be a minority. That is why we raise our voice not only for ourselves, but for all people, regardless of their religious affiliation.
✨ Defending religious freedom is defending human dignity.
On this special day, we reaffirm our commitment.
