The first Sabbath of September is dedicated to expressing gratitude and celebrating the laity, who, through their work and dedication, keep the church moving forward. They preach and teach others while we wait for the Lord’s return.

A simple, personal, or public recognition in front of the church is both necessary and meaningful to show appreciation for their work, which they do year after year with so much love for the church.
