Seventh-day Adventists representing the church in Colombia and Venezuela will have the opportunity to address their questions and concerns to top church leaders from the Inter-American Division (IAD) during the Facing the Issues dialogue program, live from Maracaibo, Venezuela, on Saturday, Sep. 19, 2009.
The unscripted program, the last of a series of seven, will provide the 15 laypersons and young people who represent nearly half a million church members the opportunity to voice their concerns regarding the church, its programs and organization.
Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America will lead the live program as the main host and dialogue with the special delegates. Inter-America's church administrators and department leaders will also be in attendance to provide insight on a wide range of initiatives and programs.
Facing the Issues is a great opportunity to meet with the church locally to allow the church to talk to us so that we can listen and make adjustments in order to respond to the needs of the church,” Pastor Leito says.
