Inter-America: Thousands of new members join the Adventist Church through Pentecost and More initiative

Thousands of new members were added to the Seventh-dayAdventist Church on Mar. 19, as the Inter-American Division territory culminatedits aggressive evangelistic efforts began earlier this year.

Church leaders reported more than 15,000 baptisms from 15 ofthe 21 regions of the IAD during the Pentecost and More satellite event which took placed in Maracaibo,Venezuela. So far, the IAD hasreported over 62,000 baptisms this year and numbers are expected to be higher,according to Pastor Balvin Braham, ministerial association associate andorganizer of the event.
