Inter-America’s Public Campus Ministries (PCM) will feature a two-hour training session this week to review its core objectives and encourage the thousands of Adventist professionals and students involved in sharing the hope of the gospel across dozens of public campuses where they live. The two-hour online training will take place on Friday, December 7, 2018, from Miami, Florida, through webcast.interamerica.org.

“We want reaffirm all of our involved students in the 120 PCM organizations throughout campuses how they can build up and expand more within their communities,” said Hiram Ruiz, PCM director for the church in Inter-America.

The session will highlight the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s public campus ministry, feature PCM experts who will share experience, provide tools and tips on how to organize the ministry on campus, and more, said Ruiz.

“Our PCM is growing more and more with hundreds of committed leaders and students who want to make a difference on campus, who want to connect and offer the hope they have in Jesus and provide a positive influence and outreach in their community,” added Ruiz. The challenge is to continue to grow throughout those public campuses where Adventist students enrolled need the spiritual support and empowerment to witness to those around them, added Ruiz.

Tune in to Inter-America’s online training session in English, Spanish and French on December 7, 2018, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Miami Time, at webcast.interamerica.org
