Hello, dear Inter-American family. I invite you to open your Bible with me today.

Let us read from Isaiah chapter 6, verse 8. It says:

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’  And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” (Isaiah 6:8, NIV)

In our previous video we spoke about the grace that God provides. Today, we reflect on the response that grows out of that grace: the call. When God forgives us, cleanses us, and transforms us, He also invites us to participate in His mission.

In the context of this passage, there is a period of instability following the death of King Uzziah. In the midst of that situation, Isaiah went to the temple, and there he received a vision that changed his life: he saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted. From this scenario, he understood that even when circumstances change, God still reigns.

After experiencing God’s grace, Isaiah heard His voice saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And he responded with willingness and faith: “Here am I. Send me!”

This is a vital lesson for each of us as members and leaders of the church. Living the mission is not limited to a strategy; it is a way of responding to God’s call with a surrendered heart that is ready to serve.

My prayer is that as we contemplate Christ today, and remember the grace we have already received, our response will also be clear: Here I am, Lord, send me.
