“Our comprehensive health ministries is about doing everything to touch the lives of people with the health message, educating, evangelizing and serving the community, and the idea is to figure out how to combine it all together,” explained Dr. Géneus. “In the past, we have been focused on strengthening each area separately but now we must focus on moving forward together in achieving the mission.”The past three years of symposiums and trainings have created stronger synergy to strengthen the vision of the hospitals under the AHSIA network and church impact as well, said Dr. Géneus. “It’s time to bring about a stronger ongoing spiritual, wholistic and preventive care as a vital part in the life of the health institution, the church and the community.”
Keynote speakers will include General Conference health ministries experts such as Dr. Peter Landless, and Zeno Charles, as well as Dr. Richard Hart from Loma Linda University, Pastor Lowell Cooper, former general vice president of the General Conference, Edy Ramirez from Weimar Institution, Monty Jacobs from AdventHealth, leaders from the IAD and more.
The symposium will include a series of presentations, seminars, trainings, group breakout sessions, a forum, Q&A session, among others and will be available online in English, Spanish and French.
