Seventh-day Adventists in the Dominican Republic celebrated the launch of the Year of the Laity during a special program at the Palacio de los Deportes on Jan. 12, 2013 in Santo Domingo. The event brought thousands of church leaders and members from throughout the six regions of the island to praise and worship as upcoming events and activities will highlight church progress on the island.
