The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America will feature a special online program on Feb. 6 aimed at strengthening the more than 3,400 pastoral families across the territory at the start of the church’s pastoral family week of prayer.

The one-hour program will seek to encourage pastors and their families to pause and seek God together during the year, organizers said.

The program, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Miami Time, will feature spiritual messages, prayer sessions and music, and will be carried in English, Spanish and French.

According Pastor Hector Sanchez, ministerial association secretary for the church in Inter-America, pausing to focus on the importance of nurturing pastoral families through the Word of God and prayer is crucial to strengthening local churches across the vast territory.

“We want to continue strengthening our pastoral families because we depend on them to guide and lead the more than 20,000 churches and congregations in the Inter-American Division,” said Sanchez.

The program falls under the Inter-American Division’s Year of the Pastor celebration of activities, added Sanchez.

The live program will focus on Family Ministries, Ministerial Association and Shepherdess ministries. Pastors and their families will be able to follow themes emphasized in a special week of prayer magazine available at 2015.interamerica.org
